So I just finished adjusting the CTS-V brake caliper alignment, getting the parking brake just right, and a few other nagging issues taken care of. Decided to take it for a light throttle, low rpm drive (200 miles left on break in and on a conservative tune) and wanted to test some spots for my gopro while doing a minor shake down. Seems the consensus is the best part is around the 4 minute through 5 minute mark.
Kooks true dual exhaust and longtube headers, large cam, high compression, and a little temperamental on the idle command when you come off the throttle, lol! Gonna fine tune that this week with HPTuners.

I had a 2001 ls1, and I love the “cammy” sound of your car

Yeah, that video doesn’t give the “lope” much justice IMO. Need the sound from both barrels, lol!

As a guy who grew up on 289s, 302s, and 351s, that still sounds lovely...and it's gorgeous.

Thanks :)
It’s still rough around the edges, really needs a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been through it all since I bought it in 2002. Here’s hoping for more enjoyment out of this not so ordinary V6.

Can't wait to hear that thing when you can rev it all the way out. I'm sure it's gonna sing!

Yeah, can’t wait either. The bonus is the 3000rpm rasp that usually appears on the 3800 is gone. I think the exhaust has been tuned to where it’s juust about right.
